Stayed here for a week during Christmas Time. While it wasn’t the 5-star luxury hotel experience that you could pay much more for on the island: for a week stay, combined with the price and overall accommodation – it was perfect. The beach right outside is said to not be “swimmable” – by Caribbean standards perhaps – but is still better/”safer” than anywhere I’ve seen on the Pacific Coast of California. All of the other beaches are easy to get to as well, and for my mom and I personally – we did not have a problem with a lightly populated resort during the winter COVID surge in the US. It’s less of a romantic getaway – I would treat it more like getting a great AirBnB cottage on the beach with space for the family, that is connected to a larger development. The people working there are all fantastic – Narender is incredibly attentive. I recommend it for travelers actually looking to see St. Kitts, instead of a beach resort-only trip.
We booked this holiday on recommendation, at short notice, after a very sad a difficult year. We needed to heal and breath again. This resort hotel offered us everything we needed and more . The location , the ambience , the meals and the wonderful staff have been fabulous ! Waking every morning to the Caribbean sky and sea , smiling faces and a wonderful breakfast started each day on a happy note. Nothing was too much trouble and each question or request was treated as if it was the only one of the day .
I have never received such incredible customer service! My first impression was a gentleman who took our bags to our rooms, but not for a tip as normal. in fact, he refused a tip, insisting that it was his pleasure. Throughout the time the we stayed at this hotel, they constantly went above and beyond to make sure that we received great service. Whether it was offering recommendations of places to go, or how to get the most for our money, they were friendly and offered advice. They called places to ensure they were open before we paid for a taxi ride. The room was spacious and comfortable. There were several restaurants on site, as well as a small convenience store.
It was my first visit to St Kitts for work purposes. I stayed at a villa in Sugar Bay Club. What a comfortable and clean apartment! Very spacious and one of the best mattresses I have ever slept on! Perfect oceanfront view! Their employees, specially Ofelia at the front desk had always the best attitude and big smile! Close to the hotel you find an excellent and handy supermarket, a great pizza place, and the best Indian restaurant in town.
